Replacement diamond jig hooks

I am looking to replace some hooks on Avas and T-Hex jigs in 1 - 2 oz size.

 

They came with the bent shaft limerick hooks but they are getting difficult to find.

 

What size hooks would you recommend for these weights?  I know what I have used but they only sell that in a 1000 ct bag and that is way more than I will need.

I have found replacement bent shaft limerick hooks at local shops with the tube already threaded on. Sometimes they come in 4 or 5 packs and some places had them sold as singles. I just matched the ones I wanted to replace with what the shop had. I have also used 2/0 or 3/0 tied up with some bucktail or bare depending on what I am trying to accomplish (typically how far I need to cast). I have also found that a small soft plastic, like a got stryper, threaded onto the hook (I think I sized the hook up a bit to make it work) was a great option. I have been thinking more about the sand eel run and using plastics that float so that the metal ava will hit the bottom, kick up a bit of sand, and then the plastic will be floating vertically. I didn't come up with that idea but it sure makes a lot of sense when you look at sand eel behavior.

I've been casting small tin diamonds.  I have siwash hooks on them.  Some with bucktail some plain that I'll still a gulp on.
