· #1 Posted August 22, 2021 I wear my plug bag on my belt with its belt loops and even though I have a quality surf belt, the bag can still weigh the belt down a bit. I know many guys just wear theirs around their shoulder with a strap but I feel like that'd get uncomfortable after a few hours of casting and 10 lbs of lures in the bag. How do you guys wear your surf bags comfortably and effectively? 0 Go to top

Shoulder strap adjusted so that Most of weight is on belt with just a tiny bit on shoulder to keep belt from not sagging down. 8 Go to top

· #9 Posted August 22, 2021 All my bags would last ten years or more because I would contact cement stipes of leather to bottom of the bag.. The stripes were usually made of old discarded belts that I outgrew.. 1 Go to top
· #10 Posted August 22, 2021 I use my 4 tube over the shoulder. I just switch it from shoulder to shoulder as needed. My 2 tube is on a belt I tend to pack lighter when using it. So there’s not much of a problem with discomfort or sagging. 2 Go to top

I try to carry about 10 plugs total, and a handful of bucktails. If you pay close attention to your rotation, you’ll find about 6-8 plugs that never get fished, only add weight. The tough part is trying to find the cutoff point to what you want or need, to carry. 6 Go to top
