I had the eye of Hugo go over my house it was pretty cool, but the hrs of 100+ mph winds were a little nerve racking

how lucky am i

to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard

Shooting a coon in a 60ft tree out of a boat in the dark holding a flashlight can be tricky. ..

I love a good storm  count me in

"Lucky" is a fictional character on the interwebs. Nothing "Lucky" says or does can be or should be construed as a real thought by an actual person. Objects in your rear view mirror may appear to be closer than they actually are.

I stayed for two Hurricanes when I lived in Nags Head, one was pretty much a dud but one was quite impressive.  I did stay over in Manteo for the evening when the big one hit.  One window damaged on the house that I was able to fix.  Next day was crystal clear and 85 degrees.  Almost no one on the beach as most evacuated.

Love his books. Just reread Lucky You on the plane to and from the Keys a couple months ago.

You know it must be a penguin bound down if you hear that terrible screaming and there ain't no other birds around.

Tornadoes are more exciting.

"The toothless, braindead, *********, geriatric mouthbreathers around here love their "safe space". It is the only place in the world where they feel like winners, the gracious thing to do, would be to let them enjoy their delusional reality."
