Bait Tailer
Tons of bait. burnt myself out stripping epoxy last year so committing to an all natural swing approach if the cocktails don't beat em to it. Seadogg

I only use 1 a white bonito bunny with silver cone head in size 2 to 1/0. Maybe I should expand my collection but it has worked for me. I find it more important to have location and right tide with some bait showing up of course White bonito bunny is always a great albie catcher! As a new albie fisherman arriving on Martha's Vineyard years and years ago, Ruth, then owner of Larry's Tackle Shop, picked out several white bonito bunnies from the shop's fly section, handed them to us and said that these are all you need. Ruth was correct. We caught albies on those white bonito bunnies all through the trip. Went home to tie more and have used them forevermore, plus a couple of others, but, not many, epoxy minnows and albie whores, pretty much did the trick. Nice to note, though, that you've added a silver cone to go a bit deeper. I've done that as well. This is a not well known albie catcher on the fly. Thanks for posting about this, onthefly.
