will have surgery and could possibly miss the first 5 games of the season which means no 1st round pick for the birds.   he quit on the birds now he shitz on the birds.  i hope he has nagging injuries the rest of his career which will limit his production.

anyone remember when the stories broke from unnamed team player saying he is not a team guy , well they turned out to be true.  he sulked when the birds drafted Hurts and he played his was out of town.   no way he could go from a mvp caliber player to the worst qb in the league overnight.

You're nuts: a 2nd round pick for this guy, with his injury history, is an incredible return. The Colts would be lucky to get anything for him right now. He's damaged goods, and he ain't that young anymore.

The fact that Ginger Jesus is hurt again should make Eagles fans ecstatic that Howie got rid of him when he did. The less he plays, the better the trae looks.

hmm i am pretty sure its 5-12 week rehab  and the first game is 5 weeks a way so with a by week and missing 5 games that would be 11 weeks out if it takes that long.

A couple of reports I read had him missing anywhere from 5-12 games. The Colts are stupid but I do like their coach.

It was a gamble. If he played well, it woulda been a steal for the colts: good QBs are hard to come by, and a pick in the back end of the first round is a very, very low price to pay to get one. If he'd have been as good as Frank Reich hoped, it would have looked like a steal.

But they've lost the bet, because he's hurt again, and at this point, it is fair to wonder whether he will ever be able to have a fully healthy season. As an Eagles fan, I say.... good riddance, ginger Jesus freak.

It wasn't for that long, just part of one season, but Wentz was very good in 2017. Who knows if that was a flash in the pan, or if he'll get back close to that level, but what I saw in 2017 was not a mirage. He was going to be MVP of the league if he didn't get hurt.

My mistake, he hasn't won one either. How can he be considered good? Foles was good
