Fish them a lot. They've been extremely productive for me. Cast great.
Nomad92
They cast very well. I just received one of each last week. Combat and dart (not the mini dart). If you place a custom order directly with Alan, he’s great to work with as well.

Hey Mike, Which one do you prefer or seems to get more bass attention? Guessing by the design the dart have more of a wobble and combat is more of a traditional glider. Is the combat a slow sink as well? Edited May 31 by cec127
AFMike
I've done extremely well with the mini dart with big fish.

Have you read any of the articles in popular striper reading magazines regarding gliders? There are 2 articles that are really well written. That being said I prefer Larson gliders to others that I used side by side. There are many ways to use these also so keep an open mind on techniques... troll #122 <*)))<

I was more concerned about the cast as opposed to the action of the bait. Alot of gliders have a tendency to spiral in the air and curve in random directions with a heavy cast. The alans cast very well, so does his jointed swimbait. I have only fished them a few times. So I have to figure them out a bit more. i have a pretty large array of glides, they’re all different. They all catch as long as I can get them in the water. I have quite a few that do not cast well at all.
iwantmypie
I have the Combat (could’ve sworn they were wood) and have no issues with casting it. Has a really nice swaying swim to it. Just keep the rod tip down and steady reel. Don’t need to twitch it at all.
Rizz1877
I have done pretty well with combats and mini darts this year. They cast pretty good.
EliasA
They cast well because they are solid resin and a bit denser than wood and they are killer fish catchers

Combat is “nice with it.” Haven’t had it very long but great natural looking movements under a variety of retrieves. Slow sink. I caught with the RM Smith waverer but couldn’t find one to replace it.
