Wherever it is you're going hoping to target bones, just have a second rod for throwing some squid down near the rocks.

Pretty much all the rock piles and breachways you might target bones could have triggers and other oddballs in the rocks.

There have been loads of triggerfish around the Vineyard the last few weeks.  A friend of mine commercial fishes and brought me a half dozen at the end of July - SERIOUSLY good eats!
