Steeler camp 2021

Steelers checking in today.  First a kudos to Tomlin, Colbert and Omar.  They did a great job, after starting 18 mil over cap, they now have 8-10 mil left to spend.

New OC, O-line coach, and new O line.  Will take some time to gel, hopefully they can be adequate.  Funny, the talking heads that railed  Pouncey, DeCastro and Al V were over the hill and can't block, are now whining that they are gone.

Looking forward to seeing the Canada offense.  Sean Payton said when he started at NO he stole a lot of Canada's stuff from his college schemes

Defense is solid, top 3-5 in the league.

An extra preseason game should help in evaluating young talent.

Steeler fans welcome, trolls tolerated.

Unexpected retirement of V Williams, Spillane can replace him, but leaves the Steelers thin in the middle.

Rumors are he may have failed physical.

8-9 maybe 7-10

Despite the earlier reports looks like Ben is coming in a little chubby than last year, could be mailing it in for his final year?

Everyone cleared to practice.  Bush and Banner post ACL surgery.

Announced rookie Green starting at center in HOF game. Will be like a Steeler home game when the Nation invades Canton.

Dee Dee Kinkywalla, ( or something like that), thinks Big Ben is going to have a good year,  She is smart.

Getting mean, first camp fight, rookie takes on the big dog.

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – An interesting day for the offensive line with a few players out and rookie tackle Dan Moore, Junior getting involved in a couple of in-play fights/skirmishes. One of those involved defensive captain Cam Heyward.

7-10 maybe 8-9 no matter how mean. fluffy schedule last year, a little tougher one this year. trending to mediocrity. Time to bring up Bradshaw, the steel curtain and superbowl wins from 30 years ago

2021 is going to be a massive season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The AFC North is the most competitive it has been in many years and Pittsburgh is making huge changes to its roster around future Hall of Fame quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Caitlyn Epes / Pittsburgh Steelers

It isn’t going to take long for the Steelers to lean heavily on rookie running back Najee Harris. Harris is the back the Steelers have been looking for since Le’Veon Bell left and more. With all the talent around him, Harris should be able to flourish against defenses bracing to stop the pass on the way to offensive rookie of the year.

First day in pads.

“Every time [Pat] makes a catch, coach [Mike Tomlin] says, ‘That’s good. Can you block?'” quipped Colbert.

Run Najee, Run !

Do you think Ben's elbow will hold up with all those hand-offs this year?

More worried about his knees, some of those hand-offs require him to take several steps to the left or right.

He is not used to moving that much.
