You could try long pond in Plymouth.  The water is pretty clear, but it’ll get busy most afternoons.

it’s about 90’ in some areas.

What part of the state are you looking for? Big Alum is pretty clear.

I’ve been diving in long pond, cool spot. There’s some awesome wrecks in Lake Champlain

Central MA...  live 5 minutes from Big Alum.

Just built a swim ladder for my 16ft. Crestliner.

I planned on my maiden voyage with her, to spend a tank or two, exploring the depths there to retrive my 8lb downrigger ball that was lost to a VW Beetle sized boulder this Spring.

The fish populations (besides stockie bows) have been stagnant the last 6-8 years but the water clarity and glacial boulder strewn bottom are sure to be an enjoyable dive site

Mirror Lake in (formally fort) Devens has clear water and depth. There is/was a dive club that dove there for awhile. You probably need a permit from the state. Also special permission to drive your gear down to the water.

On second thought, sounds like too much hassle unless you belong to that club.

Sorry, that's the full extent of my FW diving knowledge.

I've marked a couple boats on the bottom of Big Alum and South pond, with my Garmin clear-vu fishfinder, that I plan on checking out.

Dove Big Alum and Bigelow Hollow this past week.

Both places had good visibility and curious fish.

Found some lures, old bottles, and an old fiberglass boat.

Anyone know of any other clearwater lakes around worthy of exploring?

Did you see any decent bass in Big Alum? I haven’t been there in a few years but there was always a lot of bass but all around 12-14”.
