4th weekend??

Just wondering if you guys take the 4th weekend off due to the beach madness and drunken boaters. Looks like an iffy weekend early I’ll probably go late night or hit freshwater instead.

I do my best to avoid weekends altogether (from shore ) through the typical beach months (june-end of August) unless it's crappy weather that will keep most people away

Holiday weekends? I wouldn't even consider it unless I knew the fishing had been phenomenal

For some people its different, but I get out enough to be able to not go and still not feel bad about it

If it’s good tide and conditions I will go but has to be late at night, early am, or way off beaten path. Parking is an issue, parties on the beaches, and fire works are a constant this weekend. Otherwise take the weekend and hang w family and be back at it Monday pm.

but you do see great fireworks from all over when on the water.

Was at Camp Cronin last 4th (could have been the 3rd) and it was like competing fireworks shows going on forever.  It was pretty cool but the place was a zoo….I think I actually caught a striper too…lol.  Might just go late night and drowned some bait.

Weather forecast looks unsettled for the first half of the holiday weekend, so I'll probably get out somewhere hoping that knocks out the crowds. All night fishing for me at the moment.
