But is there anything to eat them?

Loaded for lack of predators?

Bass are there but you have to size down and match the profile of sand eels:)

Was out on a charter on Friday. Massive amount of sand eels in CCB. Was hoping we would have seen more action but didnt land a fish over slot.

Nothing like Cape Cod Bay. 50' -60' Cruisers

with outriggers out trolling for Schoolie Striped Bass. I counted at least 12 cruisers. Skipping 23" schoolies across the surface while they power on. The Captain from his perch giving you crap because you get in front of his troll from 300 yards away.

People pay what? 1400 dollars a trip for that?

It makes you want to buy a small fresh water boat and spend more time there. This is getting stupid and the headaches that go with the stupid are worse. What keep you going though is the next tide, you may find yourself alone with easy bass fishing.

I just go somewhere be alone.  Not going to play that game. Can always scratch up something. God forbid someone should see you with a bent rod.
