Considering making an offer on a house in Plympton. I know nothing about the town. Someone tell me why I should or shouldn’t move there.

Lived in my brother's house there for a while as a teen. Not a whole lot of night life. Alas my brother left town for parts unknown one step ahead of the sheriff.

I like the area, as others said its sleepy, I live the next town over . I like the fact i have easy access to rt 3 and 495    Cape Cod Bay/ Buzzards Bay and the South Coast, Quincy /Boston Harbor. Newport/Sakonnet  are an easy drive in any direction

I grew up in Kingston. Fam still there.  We always called it cow town as cows outnumbered residents.
quiet with more amenities than when I was kid esp with extension of rt 44.  Part of silver lake regional school system ( Kingston plympton Halifax)  is still pretty good.  Taxes used to be dirt cheap  not sure how are now.    Very quiet quaint town I in Westport and always tell people back home that it is plympton on the water

I watched Bobby Orr score his game winning goal in that town at my late grandmothers house live.

I agree with most of what's been said.

The fact that you'll have numerous fishing options is a plus.

I not privy to what's happening with the school system or taxes situations.

So like you need to do some quick researching......good luck.

Love that response. I know who won’t be delivering propane to me for sure.
