Both are one piece if you want.

The Evo is an excellent blank/rod

Which GSB the L or the M?

M
It comes in a 70/30

Still don’t see a 70/30 split for GSB’s other the the Skinner 9’2”.

Either way I would stay away from a 70/30 split for now as the Skinner rod has been a disaster.

Why would you not want a one piece GSB to compare apples to apples?

Good point.

My gut would probably lean toward the ODM being worth the stretch, in that case.

Both brands will do the same job.

Interesting, GSB 1201M is not listed on the web page now? I’m certain there is still stock out there.

The ODM would make for a lighter rod over the GSB.

The GSB is indestructible and made in the USA.

Wouldn't discount the two piece GSB. I know its not a one piece but it has its perks. I can keep it safely locked in the cab as a back up rod, when I'm not standing around the truck, or when I plan on going out after work, etc.
