Lucky
I want to get in on a good cicada bite. When will they show? What eats these things? "Lucky" is a fictional character on the interwebs. I believe they are somewhat cyclical too. However, there are cicadas every year, even when the "great broods" aren't hatching. See: dog day cicadas. This week, FDA officials posted a warning they likely hadn’t anticipated needing to issue: People with seafood allergies should steer clear of cicadas, as the insects are related to shrimp and lobster. Shellfish are one of the eight major allergens that account for 90% of all food allergies and serious allergic reactions, according to the FDA. Wheeler
I’m sick of these things. Now they’re starting to stink. If only I could cast into it, hook up, and be connected to it.
