Last time you have seen a Mola Mola ?

I saw one several miles off New Jersey last year. I was so happy to see one. It was sunning its body on the surface.

July 2020 on a sea kayak trip mid-coast Maine to Machias, saw them often at dawn or dusk, usually rounding points that were very isolated. Would always see the fin at a distance first, and then be relieved to realize it was a Mola Mola.

Sometimes early mornings and no boat traffic, they come fairly close and flop around like their drunk. Tourists start yelling Shark!:witty:

I do not see Krill like I use too. That could have something to do with it in Gulf Of Maine. I've seen Molas here in Boston gulping jellys.
