Nexus vs hybrid vs nightranger

Hi, I was wondering the difference in the jigging world nexus, hybrid, and night ranger rods, what kind of action do they all have, what species are they good for, and how were they at casting. I’m looking at the 7ft mh models 1-4oz, I’ll be using it for tog fluke and bass.  so if anyone has any experience please let me know.

I have 7' MH and 7.5' H Nexus casting rod and 7' MH Night Ranger.

 

I've used 7' MH Nexus to cast 1, 2, 3 and 4oz sinker for fluke.  It cast very well.  I've used it on pier for fluke and sometime with back wind, I almost spooled Curado DC with 20lbs braid which website says it takes 150yards.  I can't say exactly how far on average since it depends on wind but I was pretty much the person who casted furthest every time I went to that pier.  It is sensitive rod that can handle.  I don't think I've come across anyone who didn't like Nexus rod in person or on Youtube.

 

7' Night Ranger, I would say it's better/more exotic version of Nexus.  Better guides(Titanium), blank, cork handle and is 1.5oz lighter than Nexus.  I haven't fished with it but handling it feels nice and light.  I can only imagine it will cast better than  Nexus.

Do you have any of the nexus spinners? And do all the jigging world rod have a fast action and a stiff tip?

I do not.  My brother was trying to get 7'MH spinner for a while but wasn't able to find it other than TackleWorld itself.  He didn't want to pay shipping fee they charge so ended up getting different rod after waiting so long.

 

It is fast action.  At least that's how I remember it since I haven't used it in a year due to change of fishing style because of Covid.  I would say tip is on little softer side if I remember correctly.

I have the 7’ nexus MH and it has a soft tip which is ok for bouncing jigs and rigs but less desirable for rapid jigging (which I never do anyhow).

How are any of these rods handling 8-12 oz lead on party boats for bottom fishing in NJ?  
 

Picked up a used Lexa 300 and would like to put it on something that is possible to bucktail with while also able to handle the lead on a fast drift.  Ultimately, looking for a rod that is fun to fight a small fish but not snap with the sinkers.  I'm inexperienced so don't know if 1 rod for this is possible.
