Spend a few hours playing roulette using a "comp killer" system.  That way you can stay in A.C. longer and have more time fishing!

Just waste time at the tables and maybe win $5, but earn time at the table to get a comp.

OK.. next to the big wheel, roulette is the worst odds in the casino.  Lose on 0, 00, 2 or 5 and you will have to win 40 times in a row to get even again with this $5 win system... better off paying for the room...  LOL!

BTW... the odds bet on the pass line on a crap table is the bet edge you can get on the house... yeah, I live right next to Atlantic City....

Thanks for the advice.  But C'mon man!

That's like saying your odds of hooking up with a keeper or so high, you're better off buying a Fillet-O-Fish!

Where's the fun in that?

:D

btw.  I downloaded a roulette game to my tablet and tried this system.  It works for a while, but beyond 20 spins, I started to lose the original stake.

Gotta get out before the 00 and 0.

That's like the old blackjack 'system' of doubling your bet every time you lose. Start at $5....if you lose, make it $10....lose and make it $20....lose and make it $40....lose and make it $80. Let's say you get that far...lose every hand and win at $80 - you made $5! Five big ones!!

Then you start again at $5 :bucktooth: If you hit a cold deck you'll be betting $640 to possibly win five bucks!  Think of the comps you'll earn!

Did something similar with college buddies, betting black/red on roulette.  Keeping the bet the same and doubling down every time you lose.  Had a few grand on the table to win ten bucks.  Sweating bullets.  That was not a good feeling.

The problem with the blackjack 'system' is the table limit for a $5 table could be as low as $500 :blackeye: And, really, who wants to risk $500 to win $5 anyway

Thats whats known as the martingale strategy. As Tim said table limits prevent it from working. People also use the same technique in the stock market when you keep adding to a losing position. Known as averaging down or dollar cost averaging. Works well until it doesnt. When not if that day finally arrives you go belly up. Probably better off in AC and get some drinks out of the deal.

I love the BIG WHEEL!!

It's the only game I like to play.

But I'm a horrible gamble. Last time I went with the wife I sat at the bar, played video poker & drank whisky.   I was in it for the booze.

Love craps.  Was down at the end of April for tog and grabbed a cheap room at Caesars.  3 tables open but all with a $25 min bet.  To maximize the odds bet you need a pretty thick bankroll, especially the way I like to play :(  Pass line, 2 or 3 come bets...you end up with a couple hundred out on the table pretty quick at those minimums.  Get a couple of seven outs in a row and you could be down a grand in a blink.

Found a dopey high card flush table and sat there for a while having fun and made a little money.

Bless you roulette players.  After a couple spins it is like watching paint dry for me.

Do AC casinos offer comped drinks if you play the table for a while.

Only time I got a comp was at the Tropicana in Las Vegas playing the video roulette from 5PM to 5AM on the same $30 I walked in with.

I was $200 ahead until the waitress asked if I wanted anything.  She got me a double scotch, then everything went downhill.  At $60, I called it quits to rush upstairs and pack for my 7:30 AM flight home.
