FS: Redington AS (standard arbor) 9/10 and two spare spools

Recommended Posts

Redington AS (standard arbor) 9/10 fly fishing reel. Reel has been used, but is in good shape. Thing is built like a tank and has a drag to stop a Mack truck. There are a few nicks/dings on the reel foot and other random places and light surface scratches on the glossy black finish. There is some minor scuffing on the drag knob and one portion of the frame. No deep gouges or anything. Reel functions as it should and should provide many years of service.

Reel is spooled with backing and cortland 333+ wf10f rocket taper floating line. The reel and line have been used. The line could have some small nicks, I haven’t checked. But it should still be serviceable for a good long while. Really though, the backing and fly line should be considered a bonus. At a bare minimum, I’d probably recommend replacing the backing. Always a good thing to do.

A plastic baggy with tools and a few spare parts is included. The spring looks pretty bent up, so probably best to replace that if you need one.

Two Redington AS (standard arbor) 9/10spare spools. One spool has been used, but is in good shape. There are a few nicks/dings other random places and light surface scratches on the glossy black finish. There are two places on the inside of the spool that were engraved with a number 9 and the other is a bunch of small scratches.

It is spooled with backing and scientific anglers wf8f floating line. The spool and line have been used. The line could have some small nicks, I haven’t checked. But it should still be serviceable for a good long while. Really though, the backing and fly line should be considered a bonus. At a bare minimum, I’d probably recommend replacing the backing. Always a good thing to do.

The other spool is in excellent shape and appears to be unused. There may be some light surface scratches and possibly a small nick that I may have missed.

A plastic baggy with tools and a few spare parts is included. The spring looks pretty bent up, so probably best to replace that if you need one.

Take it all for $250 shipped and insured in the continental USA.

Hey viete,

I’d really like to sell everything together, just because I feel like it would be harder to sell just spools. I suppose I have a few ideas. $150 for the reel only (with line removed)..shipped and insured. $215 for reel and spools (with lines removed) shipped and insured.  Do either of those sound fair to you?
