Genius.Convert a busted Coleman lantern into a $150 bird feeder that keeps the rain off the squirrels. My old man usedta trap 'em in a hav-a-hart,paint their tails with a spray can,and release 'em across town.(the spray was so he'd know if the bastids found their way back.)So far as I know, they didn't come back, but every now and then someone would mention seeing an orange-tailed squirrel in north Clinton.

I had one of the feeders that would spin the bottom at a high rate of speed when a squirrel put its weight on it. It worked well and was a hell of a lot of fun to watch. They can hang on for awhile but that just gets em spinning faster. Lent it to my father 5 years ago and it's still going strong.

Wow I guess they didnt offer up a solution when you contacted them ?

Maybe it is time to add that second battery ?

Ct. squirrels are either a lot dumber  or lazier than cape squirrels.....

What kind of dip **** pays $150 for a bird feeder...lol

The ones who don't want to dole out less money for a Ocean State feeder and a air pellet rifle.

And then use the remaining funds for dinner and a few drinks.....
