Nice. Been only fishing RI so far.

Didn’t catch stripers any at a popular early season location on the 24th.

New to squidding and caught just one in 2 other RI trips, but tried spots that will definitely be adding to the rotation later this season in the Fall.

Will be hitting the ditch and will be great to catch up with the regulars (socially distanced) as it’s been far too long since catching up.

Fished the east side 3 to 6 PM Sat, no blue bullets. Went to west for around the last 30-40 of the tide but nada. Finished the night back east and lost what must’ve been a diaper striper as it barely felt like 6-8” before it got off. All in all, a beautiful weekend waiting for some things to pick up but great seeing a few familiar faces. Have managed to inadvertently c&r some herring while jigging for macks the last few trips out but run has been pretty bare of alewives the times I’ve looked. Happy Spring all.

Snagged a 12" sea robin on a 3oz savage and that's been all I have to show for 2 efforts thus far. Only tried spots on the west end. Done better in backwater spots south and west of the canal. Hopefully next week some decent fish move through!

The fishing has been a little frustrating to say the least and all I have really done is go for Blue bullets , with very little luck and whole lot of of hours. Managed to get out with Jason for his trip for the old geezers and managed to catch one nice flat fish. Things have pick up since in that aspect. Sooner or later things should break open for more action. Peace and Prayers

I had blue fish destroying my paddle tails at the turn of the high tide on Thursday afternoon last week in the west end.  Managed to get two and lost 2.

Chesapeake bay action still counts when your a troll...... Good late night pick for the last month or so, smaller bass and puppy drum. Been hitting a lot of hard to access points and channels with a pair of fins.

Evenings we'll hit the James or one of the brackish inlets for a mix of cats and carp.

No ring yet :howdy: she's got her own waders, a belt, light and a nice rod for the surf.
