Since St Patty’s day I’ve become quite fond of Jamison’s. Being very Scotch ( cheap) can anyone suggest a somewhat less expensive Irish whiskey. I know someone must know Irish. Maybe the Scully’s.

West Cork has some nice offerings. Their Bourbon cask aged Irish whiskey is very reasonably priced and a nice bridge between American and Irish whiskey. Their 10 year is great clean Irish whiskey but a little more money.

When I can get the cold out of me bones , just a slip into the coffee ,it don't matter the brand , I just could not get the taste for it on a regular sit down & I drank or tried most of them. I'm sure RJ will come in here & give us his preference

Gramps sounds like I guy I could hang with.  I miss Macanudo cigars & Capt Black Royal (blue bag)in my pipe.

I'll still drink a lil but no more smokin.   But even the drinkin is minimal.

I never was a whiskey drinker until I tried Proper 12, I’m a fan now. Well since it’s after 12 I may have a one. Bottoms up

If you're a fan of the regular Jamison's :skunk: then most any cheap bottom shelf whisky should be fine

Tullamore Dew

Tully with a splash of ginger is nectar of the gods.  Jameson's is good for cleaning off cosmoline on WW2 surplus weapons.
