Mark L
I only have one of his pencils but my Andersen pencil is by far my favorite. I’m trying to get my uncle to get me a few more, only throw them to bass. If blues are around it goes back in the bag.
ReelPeeler
Small guppy’s are just a fish hammer. Those along with the 4inch cc’s are what do best for me Bluetaildragger

JBay718
Madd mantis , all sizes especially small one for fall rain bait blitz action. Cheap , casts a mike and blue fish proof.
Blank Disc
I like the gibbs ones in all sizes...some others are only good in one size or the other but all the gibbs ones work well for me.

genu
My favorite is the afterhours fat bottom girl and the Big Fischer ones are right there too. Those are the 2 pencils I probably use most when blues arent around. Billy.
saltydav1d
Guppy round bottom and left hooks for more distance. Both great pencil plugs!
JCorlino033
Best top water with longest casts and easiest to work.... I use the northbar flying squid and by far the longest casting pencil type lure is the GT Ice Cream
Mlima5
Anyone try the Dark Matter pencils? I threw the heavy and the smaller size last year and they cast an absolute mile

Stripsettter
My personal best surf caught 38lbs Striped Bass was caught on a Cotten Cordell Pencil, as was my 2nd and 3rd biggest Bass. It’s the first lure I fish and the last lure I fish. I’ve been loading them with BBs for casting distance and they do Fly! I swap out rear treble to a single and crush barbs. I fish other pencils as well. Gibbs and other custom wood. There is nothing like a top water explosion on a pencil popper! No Bait. No Barbs. No Buckets.
