Hi I was wondering what hook size and if 3407 mustad would be good to tie for fluke and stripbass. I have a lot of bucktail hair left. Any help will be great. Thankyou

That hook will rust sooner or later, the 34007 is better. A teaser is generally smaller than the main offering so 2/0 would allow you to tie spearing, anchovies and large sandeels. So this hook will hold a good size fluke, striper, weakfish and blues. Lose the barb as keeping a tight line will allow a successful landing. I tie teasers for my grandsons on 1/0 and they land everything.....snags, rocks and some large fluke from the sand.
