When do you start looking for stripers up there?

I've been in CT a long time...'season' is longer here.

Although they're a soft plastic, albie snax can be worked almost like a jumping minnow... but without all the trebles. These are also good for early spring stripers....especially if they're up on the warmer shallows of some back bays and rivers

I can't wait to try the Bill Hurley baby squids I got for Christmas.

2 came rigged with the weighted hook. I'm thinking of rigging another unweighted with a 3way.   Find the right weight.  Bomb it out, bounce it back.

The Havoc grass pigs are great for schoolies and when sand eels appear. They show up as translucent with blue metallic. Worked awesome for snook on the flats. Cigars do help!IMG_0178.JPG.33057631640a5554862e225cb37cb79f.JPG

Wells is a beautiful place if it weren't for the snow and cold you get I'd be there. That's where the Rachael Carlson Preserve as I recall very nice place. In the top pic are you ocean front or backwater?

5 inch bone mag darter and a 3/4 ounce bucktail

Tell you what....put a white curly tail grub on that bucktail and i could fish these two selections for a better part of the year !!

Wouldn't even need a belt, bag or pouch to carry :th:
