Rougesun
I picked up two New York strips that were on sale at my local grocery store today. Does anybody have an opinion on using Dale’s Steak Sauce as a marinade? I plan to grill them on a Weber kettle. I use a couple of grilling techniques from a guy who calls himself Meathead on this amazingribs.com website, one for thick steaks and one for thin. Great site, by the way. I usually just dry brine my steaks with salt and pepper for a couple of hours, but I was interested in trying Dale’s. Any opinions? I’d rather have a ribeye, but strips ain’t bad. Medium Rare or less. With A little A1 for the steaks, a baked potato with bacon, shredded cheddar, sour cream, salt, and pepper on the potatoes. If I add a salad, then I am in heaven. Yum. jolly mon
I'm a fan of Dales sauce as a dipping sauce because when I marinated a steak in it that's all I could taste , It wasn't to bad it just overwhelmed the taste of the steak . I do like it for dipping vegetables in too
