How's the water flow and current for wade fishing this weekend ?  Heading to the Barryville, NY area.

Right now the river is low but predicted to rise 2 feet by Sunday so it may be muddy.  At 7,500 CFS you’ll need to know your spots but I definitely wouldn’t wade it - fish the edges and eddy’s.

Water temps are not ideal 35 degrees.

‘’good luck and be safe.

Yeah water was too cold for any action.  Wading was good, but I found anything below 40 water temp makes for difficult catching, but fishing is always fun.

I usually start heading up to the W. Branch area in late April thru early November. The fishing is prime them. The trout usually will follower the cold water increasing you % of catch's

So where do you go in January to March?  I'm going to break out the fly rod and nymph fish real slow and low.  Had luck with that in the past in slower rivers like the Ramapo.
