It’s worth remembering that both Republicans won their November elections, had they taken place in any other state. What we are watching now is a runoff election that has no parallel in almost any other state. Normal is that the winner of the most votes (even if it’s a plurality) usually wins. Right?

Historically, Georgia’s runoff system was designed during the days where it was considered acceptable to try to dilute Black voting power by putting in a failsafe in the event a black candidate gained popular traction. A runoff would provide white voters with a do-over, an attempt to mobilize voters to defeat a black candidate who got too many votes because the white vote was fractured across multiple white candidates.

In the past, Republicans have generally benefited from runoffs, consolidating white votes when it was white vs black.

Today, with the demographics changing in GA, this policy looks more like a prevent defense given both GOP won a plurality back in November.

“No nation in history has survived once its borders were destroyed, once its citizenship was rendered no different from mere residence, and once its neighbors with impunity undermined its sovereignty.”

- Victor Davis Hanson

As of 11 p.m. EST with about 91 percent of the votes counted, Sen. Kelly Loeffler was ahead of Rev. Raphael Warnock 51.1 to 48.9 percent and Sen. David Perdue was ahead of Jon Ossoff 51.5 to 48.5 percent.

Fulton County Blocks Credentialed Republican Poll Monitors From Overseeing Absentee Ballots and Verifying Signatures Despite Court Order

Poll observers in Fulton County on Tuesday were being blocked by barriers.

Single individuals were scanning and adjudicating ballots without Republican observers at the World Congress Center.

The Fulton County Republican Party took the fight to court and got an order from a Fulton County Superior Court Judge.

The judge ordered elections officials to allow poll monitors to be at least 10 feet away from the processing tables, inside the steel barriers.IMG_7544-1.jpg

....and this morning.....a miracle.....both Democrats have pulled ahead. They just needed a little privacy in the counting rooms.

GA is blue. How about that!  Absentee ballots left to count so the gap will be even wider.  Hey GOP!  Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.  Think twice before you mindlessly back a buffoon potus doing illegal **** for four years!

do you not realize that its a crock.. they feed you the bullshi t that people dont want to vote because trump lost and now todays- people voted dem because theyre anger at trump.. its all horseshi t to cover their stealing another one.. one question , if you would answer.. in GA theres several trump lawsuits that will f them sideways.if its all fair , why are they refusing to assign a judge and running the clock out.. and if fair why do they still refuse to show anyone the ballots.. and before you say there was an audit.. the ballot recounts were done by GA's sos with no outside monitoring .. so were asking the bank robber if he robbed the bank

I told you the Democrats would win both seats. They had to, in order to get their agenda moving. These two seats were waaaaay too important.

I wonder if Joe the unifier is still going to work together, with his friends across the aisle. A president for all Americans, even those who supported Trump.
