amazing.

:)

4 days of June like weather in mid october…

:howdy: to mother nature!

thurs fri are looking like GREAT offshore rec fish days once this fog clears out and the lingering E swell dies down.  tomorrow is the big question mark.

meanwhile, all these 26-36” bass holding in a lot of the usual june spots made for a super fun yesterday and hopefully another fun this afternoon.

got to remember to pic up the pots too !

I’ll be out East on Friday.  I really want to go togging but rec tuna has been too good to switch over.

Overnight and this morning, National Seashore, schoolie fest, nothing of size, lots of seals not many fishermen, couple coyotes, beautiful area, nice night solo on the beach

Has anyone ever livelined a snapper bluefish for a striper or fluke?

Absolutely! Caught my PB fluke on a dead one and have caught many large bluefish and stripers, live-lining them.

There were some bass racks that the gulls were picking over in the wash, so someone got into some slots

But I couldn't upgrade from the schoolies on plugs

They were hitting swimmers right at the beach lip

Had scouted at low tide so I was trying to drop plastics and jigs into the deeper holes and larger diving plugs for some bigger fish

But no such luck

a few days prior, helped my 6yr old niece catch a bunch of mackerel that weren't showing at all but hit a maria jig on every cast

They mighta moved on but was thinking there was bigger bait around too

Found plenty of bait not too far from Race point but that was it.  Anyone doing any better? Not many boats out there today.

I've been dying to eat some mackerel, were they off Nauset? Is it a daytime fish?
