I have a few.  My uncle passed them down.  But really not my thing.  

My mom hoardes stuff like that so I put em in her garage.  Probably sell them one day.

If I knew the man and had memories tied with them. Then yes.  But he died before I was born and they were always just dusty old things I wasn't allowed to touch.  

I'll never use em, might as well pass them along to someone that appreciates them.

Those split bamboo rods can be worth some good money. There are several builders of fly rods AND casting rods. Shakespeare and Heddon were 2 of the bigger companies but numerous small builders were true artists and became sought after collectibles.

The one split bamboo rod that I inherited from my grandfather was stolen on one of my northern Maine trips back in the 80s. :beatin:
