I've been fishing so long that I remember when "worm proof" was an innovation.

I've been fishing so long that I remember when mono was called 'nylon'.

I've been fishing so long __________?

:)

I've been fishing so long there was no bag limit and 14" min for fluke, 16" for stripers, and no size or bag limits for tog or bluefish.

I've been fishing so long, my first rods were made of bamboo (ok, they were my Dad's).

Caught my first Permit in 1956, The challenge to get fish to bite is still just as strong, but the motivation to get up and go is slightly waning. Having buddies in our 70 an over group in striper season keeps text message starting at 4am.Of course gearing up at beach means chats, stories and then over the dune. Total fishing time 2-3 hours ,talk, coffee, potty and rigging and driving 3-4. Gotta luv it.

When head lights were necklights.  If a Surfcaster wore them on their head it was kind of funny.
