It doesn't appear this 'yote agrees that my trailcam is "undetectable".

A friend of mine has been doing alot of trail cam videos and what really stands out is that most animals are very aware of the camera. 

He has numerous videos of deer, raccoons, rabbits, coyotes and other animals very curious about and exploring the camera. He has a video of a bear sniffing it then knocking it to the ground. (It was on a stake stuck in the mud to video turtles).

That definitely plays into it.

However I noticed when he had two cameras facing each other, you could see light from the other camera when it's being tripped.

I have also occasionally noticed a very slight high frequency noise in some of the video. I have sensitive ears and often hear noise other don't. Yes, they're real noises. I get that alot. I can usually prove it by locating the noise and shutting it off. I find tiny air leaks in the plant air system at work that way.

Kool Kone is on rt. 6 or Marion Rd, a couple miles out of Wareham center.  Clams and most seafood now is always market priced. They are rarely this cheap and sometimes, like yesterday, they have the big belly or fat belly.   Not quite J. T.  Farnhams, or the Clam Box or Woodmans caliber on rt.133 in Essex but those are destination restaurants and a clam plate will empty your wallet there.

Now that you reminded me, pretty sure I got a clam plate there last year during the height of lockdown, take out of course. 

Took it back to an almost empty campground and enjoyed it by the fire.

It'd been 10 days since I had visited that cam. I wouldn't think scent would last that long on what's mostly a hard piece of plastic. I guess the strap that goes around the tree is a little more porous and might hold scent longer. 

 

There's an audible "click" at the beginning of a lot of the videos. I've never heard it in person, just on the recordings. Never could figure out what it is. But it's always at the very beginning, and this coyote gets spooked 5 or 10 seconds after the recording starts.

Tgif. We all need more steaks in our life. So here ya go. Started with an 18lb rib loin. Broke down into steaks. Reverse seared over hickory pellets and then grilled and served with bacon, chive and cheese popovers, crispy roasted Brussel sprouts and beef tallow potatoes.
