I got it on block. I have not seen it locally. I have some plain ol fiddlehead too. I’ve been working on the double so far. I don’t have much left.

Single fiddle, if you will, is one of my fav ipas.  My local CT shop has it regularly.  May have to take a trip back to VT soon to stock up on Alchelmist and double fiddle....

Beats the crap out of overhyped tree house....

Went 4 for 6 yesterday. Size 12 bird’s nests and  size 16 Czech style mahalo flies seemed to be the ticket. 1B69ED3E-12A7-4485-8EB8-38EE06E739C7.jpeg.a809f0a98e1375270b0b7cf68e3f94a9.jpeg

This is my first striper over twenty four.
I got it off a large bunker pod.

I got a few other follows from bigger fish but this is the only one I could get to eat.
37 inches and it was quickly released

This is my first year fly fishing for stripers so I was pretty surprised to get one.

Tight lines!

Beautiful fish and nice basket o crap.

I have long been thinking that Croc, olukai or some other flip fllop maker should offer a free pair of flip-flops for anyone that collects and disposes of x # of flip flops from the water.  It is disgusting how many lost flip flips are floating around the oceans and they take along time to breakdown..  Good Work.

I was pretty much committed to trout spey today. My casting was absolutely atrocious for a good part of the day until it clicked. My plan was blown up due to a movie being filmed on the river (or roads). Quite a few vehicles around. I heard it was a Steven King movie but who knows. The fish below came on my countdown casts at the end of the day, I always say five more before I leave.... The fish below was on cast number 4, that made me stay another 30 minutes.
