Wednsday got lucky and Shooters in Egg harbor got a big shipment of Henry rifles.

I scored that Henry Big Boy color case hardened side gate in .357 mag I've been wanting for many months

Now I'm really gunna be needing some #*$& small pistol primers !

Started putting together my carrier rig over the holidays, ordering has been hard right now, lots of gear out of stock this year. Crye was backordered since August, plates took a month etc. Pretty happy with what I have so far between the belt and carrier layout. Still need to play around with it especially with the cummerbund layout, add, subtract or move pieces around for comfort and ease of access. With any luck I'll get a chance to run it through a few courses this year barring more covid lockdowns.

Carrier is a Cry JPC 2.0 with 1155 ceramics from RMA, belt Blue Alpha Gear, the magazine pouches are all made by Esstac. Belt IFAK made by LBT and backup carrier IFAK by Tactical Tailor, all contents and tourniquets from North American Rescue (great company). The front boo boo pouch is an Mk3 Spiritus sack pouch.

Still waiting to pull the trigger on a quality holster, probably looking at Safariland for that.

My girl also picked me up this sweet little Leatherman Mut for the Christmas. It's a solid chunk of metal, feels like you could drive nails with it. Heavy and impractical for every day carry but I think it will find a home on the belt setup as soon as I pick a nice kydex sheath for it.

I need to get more.  I keep losing them in the woods.

Waiting on NICS to clear so I can get my Glock 17.  Probably next week.  I lucked out at Shooters too.  They took my name about a month ago.  I didn't expect a call back so soon.

As bad as Connecticut is, I can do the same thing. The only hold up is the time it takes for me to fill out the paperwork and the call to the state to be cleared. The last 3 handguns I bought took just under 30 minutes and I went home with them.
