2021 TAIL FLAGS and TAIL HOOKS

Fix up the back of your plugs with new tail flags or tail hooks!

 

A FRIENDLY REMINDER TO PLEASE SPECIFY TAIL FLAG OR TAIL HOOK:

 

TAIL FLAGS - have no hook point and add extra movement to your plug

 

TAIL HOOKS - have a hook point while still adding movement to your plug

 

I tie these long so you can trim them to better fit your plugs.

 

Tail Flags

 

Sizes:       There are no sizes as there is no hook (this is a common question)

Colors:     One, two, or three colors with flash. 

                Tell me the color of your plug and I will match it.

 

Tail Hooks

 

Sizes:       2/0 - 7/0

Colors:     One, two, or three colors with flash. 

                Tell me the color of your plug and I will match it.

Hook:       Typically VMC 9171 Open Eye Siwash or a similar quality hook

 

Don't see the colors you are looking for, just ask.  Custom patterns done at no extra cost!

Ill defer to you on hook sizing this fixter swimmer is almost 7".  Can i get a tail hook to match 

 

Tail flag to match the pikie whatever you can do wonderbreadish

 

tail flag to match the jointed yellow/ white

 

Can i also get some tail hooks sized for 6" sp minnows 2 pink/white 2 blurplish 2 chart/white 

 

Im also going to take some epoxy teasers will post in the other thread to combine shipping

4 epoxy teasers x $4 = $16

4 sand eels x $4 = $16

6 tail hooks for SPs x $3 = $18

1 tail hook swimmer x $3 = $3

1 tail flag pikie x $3 = $3

1 tail flag jointed x $3 = $3

combine all in same shipping = $8

 

total = $67

for the sp minnow tails the smaller the better i usually use 3/0 inline hooks and theyre sized perfectly, siwash 3/0 might be longer than a regular inline hook?  no need to overthink this tho, theyll serve double duty as fluke teasers also.

The top pic is a 3/0 siwash.

 

Below is a regular hook for teasers.  It is also a 3/0 but it is longer.

 

If you would like inline hooks, I will need to price those out.

Yes so now you have me over thinking this lol.  I use 3/0 mustad kaiju hooks for the rear always wished they could be dressed though.  Im in no rush.  Do they cost more or can i just mail you a 5 pack of the hooks to tie up?

Okay, so I checked and it will be more tan I thought to buy these as I don't normally stock these hooks.  When I had an order for them, I would go to the local tackle shops which are now closed.

 

If you want to send them, I will figure out a discount as they are your hooks.

Thank you, ok, so this is for a total of 36 hooks and flags correct?

 

I will make a deal with you which I think you will like as most guys aren't fishing for a few more weeks.

 

I have two other orders and a large order for a tackle ship I am working on so I am a little backed up.  I also raised the cost of these types of hooks $1 this morning due to my costs.

 

I will charge you the price of $3 from this morning before I raised the price to $4 if you can give me a week to get these done.

 

If it's a deal, 36 hooks x $3 = $108 + $8 shipping = $116.
