Such sad news. Have fished many, many times with Chris. He truly loved to fish like few can. I remember one day togging where we didn't get back to 4PM(and he left early in the morning, 5:30 or so), he had a trip the next day and we were talking about surf fishing. He was going out right after the boat docked to surfcast for stripers.

RIP to a legend.

Condolences and sympathies to the Hueth family.

Much gratitude to the Captain for many, many great trips and, for teaching me how to effectively fish his boat. Stand up guy who kept it real. Big loss for all of us.

RIP to a great captain.    I remember fishing the boat years ago for blackfish and even though I wasn’t a regular he’d always come down and check on me and my buddy to see how the bite was.  I remember him showing us how to tie a quick Belmar Rig.   My thoughts are with his family and many good friends he had.

RIP Chris and condolences to Greg and the rest of the family.

I have spent a lot of mornings on the beach watching the Mohawk go by, it was usually my cue to get out before the horde descended.
