What an amazing capture!

I would not be surprised if you have a den somewhere close by. Have you heard the eerie spooky calls at night?

He probably has a mate that's layed up right now with brand new babies. He'll have his work cut out, hunting night and day to feed his family. Hopefully his hurt foot heals quick.

He's a local, certainly a den close by.

 

His foot has been injured for a couple years now. At first he wouldn't put it down at all, then gradually use it more but it's clearly a permanent injury, he limps badly but can put on some speed in short spurts.

If you look close at the first pic you can see that part of the foot seems to be missing (his front right)

And in the last pic where he's holding it up you can see it's been  damaged.
