Clip or Tie your lures?

Do you prefer to tie your main line directly to the lure or tie a Clíp to the line and just clip the lure? Advantage of the second one is faster / easier to switch lures particularly in low light conditions but no clip is perhaps “cleaner”. Your thoughts?

Day or night I clip on just about everything these days except a bait hook... :)

I just tie a loop at the leader end and thread the lure thru it. Easy to swap out. Some claim it doesn’t present well but seems to work for me. I do the same with conventional bottom fishing rods. Just a loop to loop to swap out the rig.

Same here.  Almost always

Bait hook is always tied.

Sometimes if there is alot of mung and I have a weedless something on I'll tie directly just to keep it cleaner.

Most of the time I tie to a TA clip for plugs/lures.  I use an improved clinch knot as the Palomar seemed to move side to side more on the clip.  If I’m using jig heads or very light lures I’ll tie direct.
