Looking for Info on Antique Wooden Plugs

14 posts in this topic

Hi All,
I'm trying to find a source to determine value and get some info on some old Wood Plugs I have .
Most are like new.
All in original boxes, Some have the manufactures and model labels on them.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony

The marked Masterlures are from the early 50s. The straight eel in that color are very common. In that condition they sell for $30 to $40.

the blue I have no idea. Looks repainted. Never heard of an Atlantic 1000

the white baits are what we call “white whales”. They are Masterlure bodies that we believe Tony Spina of Driftwood Lures bought remaining stock and put together. Not sure when. The are all thru wired with 1-2 screw eye belly hook with small glass eyes. They are usually found in those orange boxes which are also the last Masterlure boxes used. None have been found marked or labeled. They have never had much value and recently they have sold in the $20 to $35 range. One sold in the last few months on eBay and only brought $23. Still a nice bait to put into a collection so that are Collectable just not valuable. I have larger swimmers and poppers. This style/size

I do not have.

I know nothing about the musky baits. Search ebay completed.
