Well in the NC area I will be fishing the water is very very stained. Not sure if it stays that way or is because of the dredging that has been going on. Anyways I threw some plugs in the surf and came up with some nice fighting blues. Very fun! But I read a lot where people say often that metal spoons is what they always have on them. Well I don't own any spoons. I did just get this one as it was the last one and I like the idea of anything gold in the stained water. Is this a good one? What else do I need to get? I read good things on Kastmaster, DDs, Charlie Graves...

Anyways here is the one I have on the way.

Any particular Hopkins?

I like the hammered spoon and shorty for drum. The no=eql will work with blues if you do not have a sting silver.

+1 on the krokodile, amazingly productive in pretty much any area along the coast. But in a crosswind it will catch the wind and become a metal kite for the majority of your cast.
