Very good that's just what I wanted to hear.

For me I'm still lonely without my  EB but this year I'll get myself a new one.

I sure hope that it's a lot like Katie was.

She may have to be molded to me but EB's are good at that.

Daughter has done great job with him.   Very well behaved and extremely bright!  I’ll see how he likes to fish this summer.   If he’s like most goldens I’m sure he do great.

Finally had to say goodbye today to our sweet girl Sadie. She brought us so much joy during her 16 1/2 years, and was the centerpoint of our family. Our hearts are broken, but it was time. She was one the sweetest animals i’ve ever owned. We will miss her dearly. Hug your animals tonight, as we thought this day would never come. Man, my heart is hurting.

Mack26, I feel it and I know exactly what you're going through, it ain't easy and it's not supposed to be but, you'll carry on.

Mine has been gone 15 months and feels like yesterday.

I'm even having a hard time typing this cuz everything is blurred and distorted, I hope your next one makes a grand attempt at filling the gaping hole in your heart.

I am going to assume that you have plenty of pictures and video of her you will find that you'll be smiling and crying at the same time remembering, and enjoying what you have left of her.

At any rate you have my best you'll get past it.

Hey Mack, I am really sad for you.  I’ve been through this many times myself and it’s as hard as anything I’ve ever gone through.  My heart breaks for you and your family.  Our best friends really get cheated with a short lifespan.

 

Really sorry bud.   16 years is a good run and I am sure she was loved immensely!

Thanks man, it has been a rough day. I don’t cry often, but this has gotten to me bad. Been leaking all day. Seeing her empty bed, and her toys, just sets me off. Thanks for the kind words bud!

Thanks so much, yes she was loved deeply and the center of our circle. A real sweetheart that met you at every corner of the house with a tail wag, and her signature doggy smile. Damn, im leaking again. Thanks so much for your kind words, much appreciated bud.

Yw man, I found that going to watch videos of my dog and me or my dog and my wife playing and having fun making us laugh help me laugh too so maybe you can try that it helps me always.

"Man's Best Friend"....truer words were never spoken........our last boy passed in my arms at the age of 8 from lymphoma and took a part of my heart with him.....ya just never get over it....hang in there Bud, she's OK.
