Spro are the strongest.

About $25 per 100, bought at the unmentionable place.

Personally, I use Rosco 801.

About 1/3 the cost and have been reliable for me.

he's out of nj and he sells tackle at a .com website. ;)

**disclaimer - the guy is notorious for his slow shipping. If you're just looking for swivels, I'd look elsewhere.

Whatever happened to the shop on the cape that sold plug building supplies? Nice people, good service. Sadly, they are no longer selling.

Spro's are pretty small. I'll let someone who uses them comment on sizes.

left to right:

size 3 100 lb

size 1/0 170 lb

4xxh split ring 140 lb

I use size 3 for small plugs. Anything that uses a size 1 or 1/0 vmc treble

I use size 1/0 for larger plugs. 3/0 trebles and above.

That little split ring is pretty good for small plugs.

I'm out of larger rings.

I'm not worried about swivel failure. My knots are the weakest ling in the chain :dismay:

I've never felt comfortable with Krok because they are from Sea Striker.

Probably because Sea Striker sells at K-Mart.

Maybe I'm wrong??
