I duck hunt on Long Island, those things are all over the place over here. I'm gonna give it a shot, it can't hurt, right?

Yes, I have a great blue heron decoy and used to put it in my spread.

Do you notice a difference in attracting leery ducks?

Honestly, it has been years for me, so, I cannot really recall if it made a difference the few times I tossed one out. I may have only put out the Heron on the shoreline if I had a quick sit, and not put out a spread.

I still have it sitting in my  basement and see it when I’m over in the corner for one reason or another.
