Pelosi+25A+Trump feint+now ”future presidents”+Biden = Narrative Torpedo?

Could this renewed 25A focus, and the bill to create a tribunal to regularly assess "future presidents", turn into yet another narrative torpedo that comes back to haunt the Democrats?

Why is Pelosi raising the 25A now and in such a cryptic way? On Thursday she suggested that she was raising the alarm over Trump and his fitness to lead. Then she said it had something to do with when Trump was last tested negative for C19. She seemed to be arguing that it was not about his current state, but his past timeline. That some discrepancy would be cause for 25A removal. Then there were hints of the "roid" issues.

Then Friday, all that seemed to be gone and her new bill was about "future presidents", her words. What changed?

First, someone might have actually read the 25A to Nancy and told her timeline discrepancies about the past are not cause to question a president's current ability to lead.

Second, Trump has given multiple interviews since his hospital release where it is inarguable that he is thinking clearly, coherent and in control of his faculties (even if you hate what he’s saying). Also, Trump's doctors are saying his therapy is done so the "roid rage" argument becomes moot if he is not taking any steroids (forgetting that these are different compounds altogether).

Third, Nancy realized she will never get any support for a 25A removal from Trump's cabinet or any GOP leaders.

Fourth, the blowback from the Media, even from some on the Left, was severe snd withering.

Fifth, she may have use the entire threat against Trump as a feint, a ploy, to garner attention for the bill directed at "future presidents". As Trump observed:

The running assumption by myself and others has been that Biden is a willing participant in the plan to elect him so that he could eventually step down and be replaced by the malleable Harris who would be controlled by others. This assumption was that Joe would cement his legacy as "the Trump slayer" and step aside when the time was right in a year or less.

But what if Joe was never in on the plot? Or, that initially he was, loosely, and is now questioning the timing, or the idea overall? Then the Dems would need a commission to use "science" to help nudge Joe out of office.

Pelosi had to try to position this, at the start on Thursday, as being about Trump to lump up her base, get the DEMedia reporting as such (queue Morning Joe's hysteria on Friday). That was to provide a smokescreen for what this actually was about, "future presidents".

But in the process, with Trump, Limbaugh and now a host of others questioning the real target of this, the idea might backfire on Pelosi and the Dems. Now she has alerted voters that this is not about Trump and could, given his odds of winning, be about Biden. I know many independent Biden voters (actual, anti-Trump voters) don’t want to admit that Joe is failing cognitively, but they know it. Pelosi's effort reinforces not only that this exists, but also that the Dems are already plotting a path and mechanism for getting rid of Joe. She is showing that Trump has been right and that there is a conspiracy involved in all this.

Could this change some voters' minds? Could some who don’t like Harris, or don’t believe she’s capable of leading, change their minds? Is this a worry that has been why the Dems have been pushing their voters to vote early?

Could this 25A focus, and a bill to create a tribunal to regularly assess the "future presidents" turn into yet another narrative torpedo that comes back to haunt the Democrats?

Time will tell.

There is one other explanation: Pelosi sees the internal polls and believes Trump's re-election chances are much higher than what the media and Dems are saying in public. That this is indeed meant to apply to Trump as a "future" second term president.

Pelosi i a prime candidate for Biden;Harris puppetmaster.

Imagine how she lays awake at night cackling at the thought of getting her California-style communist Harris installed as Prez so she can run her.    Pelosi as Prez via proxy.  You know she wants it.

She lays awake at night scheming. The lack of sleep is taking a toll. It's going to bite her in the ass.

She is a malicious power crazed woman.

Everything she does is about 'what puts her in the strongest position'. There are few things I will enjoy more than when the Dems go down in defeat, and her party ousts her ... blaming her for the sweeping loss. The far left already wants her head on a stick.

Pelosi did not arrange that. It is the behind the scenes folks like Podesta who did

Makes me wonder if Jill Biden is the potential impediment, she seems to enjoy the spotlight, and the power. Maybe she’s  read Woodrow Wilson's biography and sees Mrs. Wilson as a good role model.

Setting the stage for attack #2 in Trump's 2nd term.

Of course the Senate will never entertain this.

What the Dim never seem to take into account is the law of unintended consequences when they treat our Constitution, laws, and traditions like toilet paper. Their Nuclear Option, politicizing Impeachment, SC appointments, and 25a will surely comeback to bite them at some point, but all they care about is short term gain and they never consider the long term consequences.

The Dims always seem to dwell on the surface of things and never consider the long term outcomes of their Dim witted plots and policies.

They are predictable and laughable. Just figure out the Dumbest thing they can do or say like telling the electorate they will pack the courts and bingo you have their newest talking point.

The evidence of this is the fact that Republicans can now ram through Justice appointments with the nuclear option and the Dims have given up on any major efforts to stop ACB's appointment because everyone knows they just make it up after they lost all credibility with the BK fiasco.

Winning.

Ding, ding!  I confronted a family member who is a friend of Jill's.  "Golly, honey.....she'd never do that.  Jill is a good woman and Joe is a good man..."

So the answer is yes.  It has a lot to do with her.
