Guardian: today:

One in 10 people around the world has been infected with the coronavirus, according to the World Health Organization.

Dr Michael Ryan, head of emergencies at the WHO, said its 'best estimate' was that 10 per cent of the global population has caught Covid-19. He said the figures vary wildly from country to country, as well as between urban and rural settings, and different groups of people.

The WHO estimate suggests 760million people have contracted the disease, based on current global population of about 7.6billion. It also suggests Covid-19 kills around 0.14 per cent of patients, making it slightly deadlier than seasonal flu — which has a mortality rate of around 0.1 per cent.

Will someone please tell moron Cuomo that the seasonal flu is worse than the hoax virus? Can we all go back to normal life now?

760,000,000 and 10,000 minks.

Thousands of farmed minks in Utah have died of Covid-19, forcing affected sites to quarantine as the state veterinarian investigates the outbreak.

Nearly 10,000 minks — creatures known for their luxurious, silky pelts — have died in the past two weeks at nine fur farms in Utah, as of Friday morning, Dean Taylor, state veterinarian, told NBC News.

The virus was discovered among the animals in the U.S. earlier in August, shortly after ranch workers tested positive, he said.

First seen in Europe, I think more than a million have been culled there. There's suspicion of animal-human transmission.

avg. death rate - 2020 is projecting lower than several yrs this decade, even with this ccp infectious activity.  Its not even hardly a blip in the scheme of this thing.

Maybe in Candyland but not in the United States.

Where did this come from? I saw a few analyses from Europe that all projected lower death rates for 2020 than previous years.

Less driving, less death outside of oldsters.

Who would have though a world wide pandemic would have a .14% death rate? The horrors, move on nothing to see here unless you have nominated a man suffering from Alzheimer’s to be president.
