Fave commercial BBQ sauces?

So making one's own sauce is easy and allows one to customize it to our own particular preference and need.

If for some reason we don't have time or motivation to make it ourselves, what are your favorite commercials available sauces available for purchase?

I'm looking for different styles too, e.g. sweet KC style, etc...

Thanks!

JD

Dinosaur BBQ.  Some what similar to KC Masterpiece but better.

Ribs with their rub and BBQ sauce smoked with hickory and cherry.  yum.

I usually have a bottle of Stubb’s and Bone Suckin around.  Usually doctored to use for glaze, mop.  I started making Lexington dip for butt after Little mentioned it so no more Sweet baby ray’s.  Never liked it anyway except in a vinegar based recipe Fat Johnny’s.

I don't think I've ever had a commercial brand bbq sauce that I've ever really liked. Even a quick 5 minute sauce I whip up last second is better than any store bought crap.

This is the one we like the best. Not overly sweet. I’ve gotten it from amazon.

Koon Chun Chinese bbq sauce

I'm unfamiliar w/ Chinese style BBQ.

You've all convinced me. Gonna make another batch of sauce.

Last batch I made that was a hit was a sweet KC sauce, used butter instead of oil and started by rendering some thick cut maple bacon, adding butter, sweating an onion and some garlic, spices (e.g. smoked paprika, Ancho & Chipotle powder, then aded the ketchup, paste, cider vinegar, molasses & dark brown sugar.... That's just what I can remember off the top of my head from a month ago. I'll look up the recipe.

Problem w/ that is, between the butter & bacon, gotta be careful how long you keep it in fridge. I boil it and cook it for quite a while to thicken it.

Put it in clean Mason jars in fridge.

The Lexington sauce from the BBQ House in Myrtle Beach NC is a house favorite when we go NC style

My wife loves Open Pit (I think it's disgusting)

I'm perfectly happy with the ShopRite brand KC style that I'll doctor up a little (a lot)

Spicy rub, smoke and then

6oz of peach preserve (or apricot)

3tbsp honey

1tbsp Dijon or brown mustard

1/2 cup of a standard bbq sauce

( regular sweet baby rays works)
