Imagine having a concierge, under ground parking, trash chute, elevator, fully applianced kitchen, health care, dental and more, all at a reduced cost or in some cases free to that owner and then you, the working folk, have to get up at 4:50am you get none of those amenities you are counted on to fund these other folks and at the same time your pay check can get reduced to unemployment at the snap of a finger or when work dries up.  Then you watch these same politicians you voted for the past 30 years, jay walk-cheat-lie and steal and then still talk to us sbout the American Dream and opportunity.  Something to think about.....

It's happening less than a mile from my house now.

I live on the border with another town- they rammed it through, now instead of woods- We will have a bank, pharmacy and "affordable housing" complex.

My son is a senior in HS. We will be selling once he's done.

In the mean time billionaires pay $750 in taxes. Who are we really subsidizing?

No thanks. When you supply cheap housing that is not owned there is no incentive for those  residents to keep the neighborhood nice and crime free. I’ve stepped in more s**t and piss inside NYC Housing Development buildings than I do at the dog park.

Section 8 destroyed the good neighborhoods in Ne Philly, now the alt leftists want to spread it to the burbs.  Of course the democrat(communist) politicians won't live anywhere near what they create, they hide in the elite neighborhoods behind the big walls that they say they oppose.

Maybe democrats should rebuild the neighborhoods they destroyed with their policing, zoning , housing and education policies.

Don't bring those failures to the neighborhoods that people worked hard to move to after escaping the mess democrats created.

Keep up the lie.  That $750 was a filling fee.  Did you even question why it was such a round number?  The NYT fooled the fools.  He paid millions.

Section 8 is all over Cape May County here in NJ. So far the only places to go unscathed are the shore towns (except Wildwood but that's always been a different story). Yes crime and drugs went up. The liberals were pushing to get Affordable Housing into Avalon and Stone Harbor for the past couple of years but after doing the math realized that it's not affordable in a beach town with million dollar homes.

In my case above- Yep the mayor lives on the other side of town.

So do the zoning board members.

Only losers pay more than $750 in taxes. How much did you pay in April?
