There will be a second debate.

It's about seeing the candidates head to head.

Biden's camp got to the commission.

There was no discussion before the announcement with the Trump camp.

Now they have to hash it out.

Trump changed those terms when he got Covid.

Partially but not what you think.

He's recovered from the Covid.

Biden camp needs to keep narrative that Covid is a death sentence - Trump just showing up at this point sinks that one in the Atlantic Trench.

It's called negotiation.

He's not agreeing to the terms changing since they were first agreed upon.

Right-After all why would anyone find anything wrong with this rule change simply because one of the participants has a deadly contagious condition?

Staying with the original plan makes perfect sense.... If you're a fool!

HAD....

By the 15th, he will have tested negative several times and will be immune and not a carrier. He's been symptom free for a few days and fever free even longer. He's back to work.

Next excuse?

nice spin.

You know he has a whole week to test negative multiple time before the debate starts right?  Given the fact he's been fever free for 4 days now with normal O2 levels, most likely he will test negative prior to next Thursday.

Why did the commission just decree it when the Biden camp went to them with this new revelation?- There ARE two parties to this right?

Doesnt look good for the partisan commission on debates so the Trump team needed to call the bluff. There will be an in person debate next week unless Joe ultimately backs out.

No, he's still sick. He's pumped up on  steroids, anti-biotic cocktails and lord knows what else.

I wouldn't go in a room with Trump, and I'm about as low risk as there is to catch the virus.

The pattern of the virus is to get sick, get a fever, etc., you get a little better, then it comes raging back in the 2nd week. Trump could very well be back at Walter Reed by early next week.

Joe would be stupid to debate Trump in person.
