It is what it is.

He talked a lot, but ultimately the trade deficit grew to it's highest gap ever under his watch.

Bump.  Common wing-nutz.   At least call it fake news or something.

Are you really going to let it stand that Trump actually GREW the very trade deficit he promised to shrink?

Trade deficit is a beeetch! It takes more of a balance to strike the effect of tax cuts and dependency on consumption. If we reduce imports we can reduce consumption and govt. deficit. The dollar must reign as the dominant currency but a weak dollar does aid in borrowing abroad which can lead to other problems. The best strategy will be to create long term solutions in trade policy once we can create more domestically and have a stronger dollar. High tariffs are just a small part to strike a balance. There is no one size fits all strategy that can be applied here.

Trade.  Wars.    All smoke and mirrors.    China, China, China...

The faithful were duped.  They wholeheartedly believe the lies and deception.   They do not want to be told the Truth so they "rally" behind their "leader".

Pathetic.

Expanse in trade defecit is result of economic growth/recovery.

If you want to shrink the defecit a surefire way to do that would be to trigger a recession.

so based on your statement the economy should be booming right now.... but it  is not...
