Making an impromptu trip to OC MD this weekend..

Haven't been in years.

Do I need a license to fish?

I presume surf access won't be an issue this time of year..?!?

TIA

JoelJ,

OCMD city site says,  stay away from surfers and beach goers by 50 yards between 10-5:30pm.  That's basically when the life guards are out.  there is plenty of room out front though.  I just came back from OCMD.  I'll post a report there as well.  MD/VA lic are valid. You will need that license to fish the beach, other public piers like 2-4 bulkhead , 9th st, and pay piers you do not.  The Maryland fish and game guys are all over OCMD, so know your creel limits if keeping anything
