I'd buy them, cheap as hell from the lure building stores, only need a few sizes, big belly small belly, nose, and tail. Spend your time designing the next killer plug..

I get the appeal of making all the pieces, but it stretches out the timeline quite a bit.

Thanks, you ever try the method of needle nose pliers inverted with the tips out and sharpened?
